Shorerise Phase 1 Now Selling in West Kelowna
12/12/2023
Okanagan Developer, Emil Anderson Properties, in partnership with the GP2 Properties Limited Partnership, recently announced the Phase 1 sales release at Shorerise, a master-planned, mixed-use community that rests on the hillside of West Kelowna’s landmark, Goats Peak Mountain and Gellatly areas. Featuring spectacular tiered views of the surrounding mountains, orchards, vineyards and Okanagan Lake below, the initial release offers two distinctive home types, and four award-winning builder groups, making it one of the most exciting home destinations in the Okanagan Valley.
In preparation for the highly anticipated Shorerise Phase 1 release, which includes 5 future showhomes, 16 single-family lots and 19 villa homesites, the Emil Anderson development team carefully vetted more than 12 Okanagan-based builders, before selecting the Preferred Builder Group for this flagship community. Based on specific benchmarks in home building, including custom home portfolio, quality, craftsmanship, innovation, and safety practice, four builders were awarded a position within the Shorerise Preferred Builder Group, including 3rd Generation Homes, Dilworth Homes, Everton Ridge Homes and Richmond Custom Homes.
“We are incredibly excited to partner with some of Okanagan’s finest builders,” says Karmen Chanasyk, Director of Development for Emil Anderson Properties. “We went through a lengthy RFQ process and it wasn’t an easy decision, but the builder group selected shares the Partnership’s vision for the community.”
While each of the builders at Shorerise has garnered recognition for custom home building, each offers a specific niche that in-market buyers are looking for. When paired with the Shorerise Design Guidelines, which offer a variety of Okanagan-inspired architectural styles to choose from, buyers can also opt to build a custom or semi-custom home on a cost plus, or fixed price contract.
In addition to custom builds, Shorerise also offers a boutique collection of semi-detached homes, aptly named the Shorerise Luxury Villas. Built by Dilworth, these homes offer designer-inspired colour palettes, with a host of options and upgrades to choose from. The home package offers a personalized touch, with the allure of a lock-and-leave lifestyle.
“Okanagan residents have been waiting for Shorerise (or Goats Peak as many know it) for years,” says Colton Higgins, Director of Sales and Leasing for Emil Anderson Properties. “Now that we are finally at a point where sales can begin, the true magnitude of the development needs to be seen in person to be appreciated.”
Designed to complement the naturalized landscape and existing trail connections, Shorerise promises to be a destination for outdoor and lifestyle enthusiasts alike.
For lifestyle enthusiasts, Shorerise is well-situated off Gellatly Road at the Glenrosa overpass and offers convenient access to Westbank businesses, shopping, and schools, with world-class wineries and the wonders of Gellatly Bay, including Willow Beach, Gellatly Off-Leash Dog Beach, West Kelowna Yacht Club and The Cove Resort and Spa only moments away. In future phases, Shorerise will also include a walkable urban village, complete with boutique shops and restaurants.
For outdoor enthusiasts, a trailhead lookout pergola will soon connect to existing trails within the community and onward to Goats Peak Regional Park and Gellatly Regional Heritage Park, with Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park and Glen Canyon Regional Park within walking distance. From the front door, additional opportunities to hike, bike, golf, snowshoe, downhill and cross-country ski are all within a short drive.
The Shorerise Discovery Centre opens to the public on January 20, 2024. Private appointments can also be booked until December 21st, and after December 27th, 2023 – https://calendly.com/chiggins-sales/shorerise-vip-preview. For additional information on Shorerise, register at Shorerise.ca.
